Dragon full form:you become a mighty azure dragon, becoming 15 blocks long and forcing you to fly with a slithering motion. You gain 15 extra damage, 10 armor, 8 armor toughness and 50 extra health, and you can use the moves blast breath, dragons roar, flame cloud lift, tornado spin and flame dragon. You also have immunity to fire.

Dragon hybrid form:you become half azure dragon, giving you 10 extra damage, 5 extra armor, 4 extra armor toughness and 25 extra health. You can also use flame cloud lift and dragons roar.

Blast breath:you launch a massive beam of fire that deals 80 damage and destroys every block in a 100 block long line.

Dragons roar:you unleash a powerful roar, creating an electric shockwave all around you and causing lightning to strike nearby.

Flame cloud launch:you launch three flame cloud projectiles. On hit the target starts levitating, suffocating and are blinded for 10 seconds.

Tornado spin:you spin in place, causing a massive tornado that does damage and throws everyone around.

Flame dragon:you cover yourself in fire. For the duration any creature that stays within 10 blocks of you takes high amounts of fire damage for the duration.

I agree with everything except for the hybrid has less damage thing. Hybrid is the strongest form while full dragon form ended up being a disappointment damage and also armor wise. I propose to either lift damage or durability of hybrid above dragon.

What I will add is following attacks, as they are way more associative with Kaido’s utilization of the fruit than his race abilities:

    1. Raimei Hakke: requires a dull weapon and deals a reasonable amount of damage,
    2. Ragnarok: requires acoc and a dull weapon, needs charge up time with a rotating animation, deals terrifying amount of damage and lifts the fruit respectfully to S+ Tier, in which it lives rent free! It also has ball shaped aoe in which blocks get destroyed. Downside: long cooldown

But let‘s be smart and not suggest Horai Hakke and homocidical drinker form as they seem way too characterized to Kaido‘s habits (alcoholism). Some will say it‘s his awakened form, but that would make it even worse, as Wynd is notorious for not wanting to add them anytime soon. (Ito cough ito)

I’m pretty sure that Kaidous blunt weapon skills come from Kaidous own training rather than the fruit

There is nothing wrong on basing attacks on the canon user. Would another one with magma fruit also have the attacks akainu has? We don‘t know whether the attacks are linked to his fruit or to himself, it doesn’t matter, as it’s the same with countless of other df’s. Sometimes Wynd needs to look for workarounds as Oda never made clear whether an attack comes from the character himself or his fruits.

Grim Reaper well seeing as Yamato used atleast one of those abilities as well I would say they are unrelated to his fruit, especially since there is no obvious fruit effects during these moves. Also if you’ve seen the leopard Zoan it has shitty moves because Lucci combined the 6 powers with his fruit, so wynd didn’t include abilities that wouldn’t inherently come with eating said devil fruit

at least in the wiki, kaido's moves like ragnarok or thunder bagua are listed under his weapon Hassaikai and doesnt mention them being related to his fruit. So i guess those types of moves could be part of a new fighting style or maybe race abilities specific to Onis (like kaido and yamato), while the actual dragon moves like boro breath for the fruit. Here's the wiki link in case you're curious https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/Hassaikai

Ferdex Ragnarok was unambiguously shown to be a df ability and the lighting that Kaido used was from his fruit it‘s pretty clear that it wasn‘t just acoc but also his df powers. I recommend you to read it again, to get a better grasp of what I mean.

froggyboi8188 you‘re saying we shouldn‘t add Raimei Hakke as the uo ability, but to the set of Oni race related abilities? Hell, we don‘t even know if he‘s an Oni that would be a headcannon

            4 days later

Grim Reaper id say the same to you, cuz I checked both of those moves and there is no indication that it comes from his df, especially since as I said, Yamato uses the same move against Ulti with the same lightning. In regards to the Oni thing. While I think this isn’t 100% confirmation Kaido calls Yamato the Oni Princess which is why many people think that they are Onis

              D

I thought that’s just their conq haki

D Ah we can just say that the blast breath does less damage in hybrid

Grim Reaper exactly look at a certain flame user and how they use their fruit in comparison to the previous fruit

Grim Reaper also things like pipes and clubs are classified as swords you get the swordsman bonuses lol also it would only work for mmnm and maybe base mc weapons anyway

froggyboi8188 could be but I think it’s more like how Luffy has flames when he uses red hawk. It’s like a part of the technique they are using

                    4 days later

D thats different because hes igniting his haki the flame we're talking about is from a fruit

                    • D replied to this.

barles03 the Lightning in thunder bagua isnt from his fruit. Just like like the flames in red hawk aren’t from the his fruit

                        D

Acoc is part of Ragnarok but not the essence. It‘s his df power. If not, then why did Kaido jump into the sky and charged his weapon electrically? I’m prett sure he used his weather properties for that. And as said, it will require conq coating from the user to enable Ragnarok in the first place, like we don‘t change it from the original. I agree that Raimei Hakke is either part of his fighting style or race. For the sake of making the fruit more versatile, I can think of optionally implementing it as a df ability.
