Challenge Crash

I get the feeling this has been talked about to death but I have a little bit more insight into it. I've been running a server for a few days and any time I try to enter a challenge it times out the server. The console seems to be trying to access blocks before they exist, which causes enough lag to lag out the server. I have screenshots if I can figure out how to post them here...

The modpack I'm using is quite large so that might add to it

Can't do anything without a crashlog, however make sure you're not using valkyriean skies, as that will crash upon joining a challenge.

I also kinda have the same problem, i lost a challenge and then the world just stopped. It was like when a rollback is about to happen but it doenst and just stays there perma.

I try to break smth and it doesnt drop, mobs dont do nothing and cant hit them, etc

I saw it just happens when i set the world to islands
