New Haki Fight Style

In the mine mine no mi mod, everyone can max out their haki to the same extent and have the same haki abilities, so there really isn’t any incentive to go only haki compared to also eating a devil fruit besides being able to swim. Adding a haki fight style would definitely incentivize more people to use it and not just get the most OP devil fruits all the time. Also, as kaido said only haki could rule the world.

I feel that this fighting style wouldn’t need a whole lot of moves. Divine Departure (roger used against oden and shanks used against kidd) could be a move, perhaps an observation haki breaker (reset an opponents observation haki cooldown), a conquerors haki stun (similar to what shanks used against green bull), and an overall buff to haki stats for users (up observation haki duration and armament strength) would be cool. Also, maybe it doesn’t occupy like a fighting style slot more than it occupies a devil fruit slot so 1. you can’t eat a devil fruit while using the style and 2. you can also have like a swordsman using the haki man fight style.

So it sounds cool but the problem is it doesn't make that much sense why a haki god cant eat a df we dont have rly any information how haki and dfs "crossover". There was never a real hint or something like that in the manga/anime why a devil fruit user shouldn't be also able to master haki to his full extend. Maybe in the future when we have more information about devil fruit/haki this could be cool.

ElWalrus you right we don’t really have an explanation on why the strongest haki users don’t just eat a devil fruit too but it seems to be a trend that the top tier haki users don’t have a df. plus it would be OP specifically in this mod to have buffed haki and also a broke devil fruit. This was just a cool idea to make non DF eater gameplay funner ig and not just people wanting the coolest fruit

Also with kaieroseki fruitless isnt even weak atm so there is reason to not eat a df but it is just hella boring

ElWalrus yea you right it isn’t really weak but compared to some of the devil fruits that can like fly and do like 80 damage per hit now and like yk do all that stuff fruitless is very boring to play as. kairoseki and like swimming is really the only upsides fruitless has vs devil fruits yk

The devs have already said that things like this wont be hapening bc its not canon becose even those with devil fruits can have the same abilities as the ones without them.

the only possible way to create an incentive for fruitless (or as you coll it haki fighting style) while keeping it canon is since you have more slots you'd be able to use more fighting style moves.

Maybe this will come true since there will be sub-styles and thats just meaning fruitless players can put more FS abilities in their hotbar but DF users wont be able to as most of them have already filled hotbars with FS abilities, race abilities and on top of that fruit abilities.

Even so fruitless is good right now, with kairo there are many advantages and im prety sure kairo will be getting another buff
